Brad's Tribute To The Death of The Single Man |Six Pack'a Country

Warm weather is here, spring fever has taken its toll, and for a select few their number has been called. Brad Paisley pays tribute to all those brave single men giving up their lives to become married men. In good ol' Brad Paisley fashion he takes a look at what spells the end of the line for any single man.

The warmer weather brings the death of many single men as they start a new life as a married man. From the point of view of the guy's friends in the crowd this could be seen as the end to all the good times these fellas share. As the new man's life gets consumed with family duties and responsibilities things will have to change and the other guys will also fall victim to the same thing. They just won't be able to stop it from spreading like the toppling of dominoes or the cooties epidemic.

We get "Death of a Single Man" from Brad's latest album "Wheelhouse". This song is slow and at first it may throw you for a loop on what it's really about but the message becomes clear as you continue to listen. Brad gives this track a nice little bluesy feel that matches the lyrics perfectly. He pokes fun at what people expect marriage to be like and what the rest of the unmarried single guys are feeling when they lose their first guy to this epidemic.
