Whatcha Got in That Cup: Thomas Rhett opens this one with a catchy little tune that gets your foot tapping and head bobbing. He mixes some singing and maybe some rapping?? but whatever it is, he makes it work. This is one to add to your summer playlist and listen to repeatedly. He's trying to explain the weird feeling of falling in love but can't get it quite right even with all the alcohol references. Don't skip it!

Rating: 4/5

Something to Do with My Hands: Chances are you've heard this one on the radio a million times. It's still a good song as long as you haven't listened to it too much, and if you have give yourself some time and give it a break. The question with this one is, what exactly is he going to do with his hands? We get some sweet notions of running it through the girls hair but then get very provocative as he knocks off all the normal things to do with your hands from the list. Just use your imagination ladies and gents.

Get Me Some of That: For this one you gotta check out the music video. The two paired together tell a great story. You get the notion of a guy that sees the girl and at first glance falls in love. The background music fits the song perfectly and after a few listens you'll find yourself singing right along. This is definitely a keeper.
Rating: 5/5

Call Me Up: The situation for this one could be either a guy hitting on a girl or a guy just flirting around with his girl. Either way still makes it a good song. We are thrown right into this guy's creative ways to get the girl to hang out with him. How far you wanna make 'hanging out' go can be determined in your own mind. He's just hoping that she gets bored enough to give him a shot and spend some time. Definitely give it a listen.
Rating: 4/5

It Goes Like This: The tempo gets slowed way down for this one. This is a song about writing a song. I usually don't care for them but this is okay. He wants to write a song for a girl so it is actually about a guy that writes a song about writing a song for the girl. Try to stay with me here. Give it a listen and see what you think.
Rating: 3/5

Make Me Wanna: This is something to add to your summer playlist and play loud with the windows down. The intro gets you hooked right away with a catchy guitar riff. The end of each chorus ends with "If you don't stop I'm gonna...Girl you make we wanna" so try not to think too long about the meaning of this song. But the overall feel of the song itself is infectious and will get you tapping something the entire time.
Rating: 4/5

Front Porch Junkies(Remix): This is just a song that's meant to be fun because it is about nothing. If you like hip hop you'll probably like the beat of the kick drum and the snares. This is not pure country so get ready for that but it is fun. Give it a listen.
Rating: 3.5/5

In a Minute: There's nothing that really stands out about this one. It's listenable but definitely fills the role of a stereotypical country song by mentioning beer, a field, a fire and guitars. It won't hurt to listen to it but isn't very memorable.
Rating: 3/5

Take You Home: This changes situation of just a guy picking up a gal into the guy trying to steal her away from another guy that's at home while she's out having a good time. He isn't being super pushy but really trying to convince her that she belongs with him and not the guy that doesn't wanna go out with her. It's a slower song but isn't too bad.
Rating: 3.5/5

Sorry for Partying: Here's another fun song dedicated to those whose life gets disrupted by the result of one crazy night. The party quickly got outta hand and went way later than expected so he is sincerely sorry for all the disturbing things that happened that night. You can't help but feel sorry for that Grandma in Georgia.
Rating: 3.5/5

All American Middle Class White Boy: Seems like somebody is really proud where they came from with this one. Anybody can relate to this as long as they are an American middle class white boy. This is just meant to be fun and entertaining like how music is supposed to be but isn't a necessity to have on your playlist.
Rating: 3/5

Beer With Jesus: Obviously those of you who are not religious can just skip right over this one. This song asks some good questions about religion that don't get answered like "what's on the other side?" So it'll get you thinking about life and what happens after we're gone. It is sweet and a solid ending to the album.
Rating: 3.5/5

Overall: Go and get it. It's pretty solid and you can listen through with few skips if any at all.
Rating: 3.7/5
